Hello again
Happy Spring, almost!
I noticed the little “flying squirrel” is back popping up constantly on Camera #3. It is so so busy!
Happy almost spring to you too! The little flying squirrels are so fun!

Hello from the UK
Me and my mum would just like to say how much we love watching the cams. The squirrels keep use amused for hours – we can’t wait to see a bear – do you think we stand a chance
We also want to see the foxes and a deer or two – if you can arrange it for us it would make our day lol
Thanks again
Julie & Maureen xx
Glad you got to see some deer
What happened to the pond? It looks like the heater quite working.
Hi Linda, yes it quit and we can’t put in another one until the ice melts, which not sure when that will be!
Ahhh
Hi Deerfeeder
At 4.35 AM my time which would be 3:35 AM your time; a Red Fox appeared on camera 3 and kept walking through cameras 2 and 1 at the back edge of camera range. It was very low to the ground and was very much intent on following a scent trail. It continued into the woods. A few minutes later a second fox appeared and followed the scent of the first animal. This was all in approximately 5 minutes.
Nice surprise!
Eileen
Hi Eileen, That sounds like a nice surprise I was wondering because someone said the other day they thought they saw a fox again. I think they don’t like the light, or they might come around more. We could put out hotdogs or something but then the dogs all show up, LOL. blgwd/Candace
I will make a $20 donation — please put some suet out for the birds! Thank you!
Thank you Joan! We bought suet. The woodpeckers really enjoy it. The squirrels do too, when they can get to it they cart away the whole cake. Thought we had a great picture someone took of that but can’t seem to find it this morning. It was pretty funny. I think I recall also that they took off with the suet holder and all one day, and we have never found it!
Here are some links of animals that enjoy the suet:

Just saw an older golden retriever trying to eat the food. Poor thing is hungry. Is it yours? He/she was a little grey in the face. Nice looking dog.
We have seen it out here before, but it isn’t ours. Came up to the house the first night time we saw it last fall, after taking a dip in the pond so must belong to someone across the road. We had a Golden Retriever once they are real nice dogs. Love water though, LOL!
